As
is well known among Kristy McNichol
fans,
this now retired actress is an extremely private person. That's why it
was a very pleasant surprise when earlier this year she made a couple
of public appearances to sign photos for her many fans. One of those recent
public appearances was at a charity "Celebrity Meet and Greet"
held in Los Angeles in January of this year. She met and signed photos
for the crowd and even had a chance to get together with old friend and
The Pirate Movie co-star Christopher
Atkins!
Like
many other fans I would love to see Kristy return to acting but can also
respect her wishes to move on with her life. If not acting is what
she has to do to find some happiness in this world then I can accept that
and hope that she does find what she is looking for. Good luck Kristy
in whatever you do and thank you for the many wonderful memories!
